The Italian language school Machiavelli is located in the historic centre of Florence. Focusing on creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere, the school offers a variety of high-quality Italian language courses throughout the year at all levels. The structure and the contents of the programmes for the levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The Centre furthermore is under the aegis of the Town of Florence for the participation in linguistic projects aimed at citizens outside the European Union.

- Services must be paid in full 1 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- Enrolment fee is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund policy

- If a course is cancelled more than 30 days before course start: 80% refund
- If a course is cancelled between 29 and 15 days before course start: 50% refund
- If a course is cancelled less than 14 days before the start date full price will be charged.

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 10% of amount paid Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

In the case of a travel visa being declined by an Italian Consular office, the student is entitled to a refund of 90% of the sum paid, available by sending all of the original documents emitted by the school to the school office and a copy of the letter explaining the refusal to grant the visa by the Embassy or Consulate.
