Clients will learn all the essential areas of language and grammar through task-based methodology. While the communicative approach is central we always consider the individual learning style of our students. All four language skills are given the appropriate class time through the application of our academic syllabus. While this provides continuity and structure there is also a certain element of flexibility, again with the view of meeting the particular needs of the student.

Student Information

•On arrival at the school students are greeted by a member of our friendly administration team and shown to the room where, along with the other new students, they will attend the orientation session and sit their placement test. During the orientation session, the students are welcomed to Cork and to the school. They are familiarised with the timetable and the programme of activities, the layout of the building and the facilities provided.

- Services must be paid in full 30 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students

Cancellation Policy

- The cancelation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person that booked the course.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- The registration fee are non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee are non-refundable.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund Policy

- Bookings may be cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to commencement of the course without penalty or fee.
- If a course is cancelled between 7 and 14 days before course start: % refund
- If a course is cancelled between 1 and 7 days before course start: % refund

Visa Refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 200 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other Terms

The full amount of the balance payable for every group and individual booking must reach Cork English College Ltd. a full 28 days before the arrival. Cork English College Ltd. reserves the right to impose a levy of 2% after 28 days and for each 28 days or part of thereafter.
