The NSTS - English Language Institute was founded in 1963 and was the first English Language school to operate in Malta. We adopted a policy of quality that reverberated internationally and fostered a steady increase in demand. 20 years or so later NSTS Malta expanded into providing tuition all year round while others started to open summer schools and replicate programmes. NSTS is also the founder of the accreditation body FELTOM (Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations).

NSTS Malta maintains its academic leadership as it renews itself through a critical process of reviews of its teaching methodologies and analyses developments in the market place to maintain relevance to the current needs of its learners. Its International Teacher Training Centre prepares prospective teachers for local qualifications and the renowned international teaching certificate of the University of Cambridge (CELTA).

Terms & Conditions


- Services must be paid in full 30 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bank charges are payable by students

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- Where a cancellation is received 1 days after enrolment there will be no refund.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund policy

- Bookings may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to commencement of the course without penalty or fee.
- A cancellation fee of € 250 applies when a course is cancelled less than 4 week/s before the course commencement date.

Visa refusal

- 1- No refunds whatsoever are given for Visa refusal.
