The university preparation programme was designed for students who plan to study in Germany. It prepares students linguistically and familiarizes them with the academic procedures at German universities. The program includes the following modules:

- German language courses on level B1, B2 and C1
- Online course to prepare for university studies on level B1 or B2
- TestDaF preparation course
- Study guidance: check of your academic documents, profile analysis, individual study advice, four applications at German universities

The courses and time-frame of the programme are tailored to comply with the minimal requirements for the TestDaF (Grade: 3). Terms of admission vary significantly according to field of study and university, and could require a longer programme (up to 3 months longer). Please contact us for advice.

- Services must be paid in full 30 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 17 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund policy

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 200 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other terms

Upon receipt of an application form, Collegium Palatinum - IH Heidelberg sends a written confirmation of the student's acceptance. To confirm registration, the student has to transfer a non-refundable tuition deposit of € 200, which will be deducted from the course fees. The balance listed in the acceptance letter should be paid 30 days before classes begin. Late registrants will have to pay the total course fee upon receipt of the acceptance letter.
