Lessons are held in small groups (minimum 3 students) in the morning and are combined with 4 hours of individual lessons in the afternoon in a week: 2 lessons of 2 hours each to be combined to the morning group course.
The intensive course is best for all students who desire to learn as much as possible in a short period of time.
The intensive programs have always been successful because the individual lessons are very good at establishing and fixing new aspects of the language.
During private lessons teachers pay attention to student's particular difficulties that can be faced during the study of the Italian language and it will be followed a tailor made program.

Terms & Conditions: A Door to Italy - Italiano per Stranieri

- Services must be paid in full 1 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund policy

- If a course is cancelled between 7 and 29 days before course start: 70% refund

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 180,00 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other terms

COURSES
All the classes are composed from at least 4 participants. If this number of participants to a course is not reached, the course will be activated however. Nevertheless the direction reserves the right to decrease the number of times of lesson in relationship to the present participants, in consideration of the most greater intensity of the lessons in so small groups: 1 student / 2 students = 2 hours, 3 students = 3 hours In this case the cost of the course is unchanged.

VISAS
The students that need a visa in entrance have to contact the Italian Consulate in their country to dispatch the necessary formalities. The School furnishes the necessary certificates to obtain of the Visa of Entry in Italy for exclusive motives of study. To be able to send such certificates is relatively required the total payment of the course and a deposit in the 30% measure for the accommodation. The School sends within 8 days from the arrival in Italy the students to the police office for the issue of permit of stay. The students that need such service will have preferential passage in the police office. In case the student doesn't get the visa, the School will return the whole sum received except administration of 180,00 euro and possible banking expenses sustained for the restitution of the sum. The School needs a document released from the Italian Consulate that attests that the requested visa has not been approved from the competent authorities.
