English for Work is designed to do two things; help you move to the next English level and prepare you to be successful using English in the work place.
The General English part of your course will focus on your specific linguistic needs - from grammar to pronunciation - giving you the chance to develop and improve.
The English for Work part of your course is built on areas that everyone needs if they are going to use English in their jobs: applications and interviews, presentations, discussions and negotiations, formal and informal correspondence, socialising and networking.
You can start this course at any time of year and take it for one, two, three or four weeks. You can also combine this course with a Work Experience placement (see page 16).

•At Sandycove School of English we believe that your free time is as important as the class time and we have in place a programme of activities that will keep you busy and really help you to get the most of your time in Dublin. We offer you a minimum of three activities every week for you to do in your free time. These change during the year and depend on local events, special exhibitions and, of course, the weather! Our social coordinator, Diane, will plan the programme on a weekly basis.
