The Thai Foundation Course is a 2-week course that commences every Monday throughout the year (with the exception of Songkran in mid-April and New Year). This beginner course is 15 Thai lessons spread over 5 days at 3 lessons per day. Lessons are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the first week, and Tuesday and Thursday in the second week. The course book uses simple phonetics to get you speaking from day one. In just 2 weeks of study you get a good grounding in the basics of the Thai language - you'll be surprised by how much you can learn!

Terms & Conditions: Patong Language School

- Services must be paid in full 7 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund policy

- 1- No refunds whatsoever are given for cancellations.

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 40 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other terms

Students who enrol to study for at least 12 weeks (minimum of 4 lessons per week) are entitled to apply for an ED visa. PLS can assist these students with their ED visa paperwork.
Students who enrol to study for 7 months or more must pay a non-refundable 50% deposit before PLS can prepare their ED visa paperwork.
Students who enrol to study for 3-6 months must make a non-refundable payment equivalent to 3 months of study before PLS can prepare their ED visa paperwork.
