Our summer courses are designed for those students who would like to improve their knowledge of Spanish over a few weeks, whilst enjoying a wonderful holiday in Spain.
We offer the option of combining in-class learning with visits to the most famous and touristic places in the area, along with fun and cultural activities.

What do the Summer Courses include?

- 20 hours per week of General Spanish lessons: grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, oral expression, written expression and comprehension will be studied
- Class materials
- 1 excursion/visit per week
- 1 lesson at the beach every 4 weeks
- 3 free-time activities per week + a city tour

Hispania, escuela de español was opened in 2002 with the philosophy of creating an attitude of life (thanks to the learning of the language and culture) where humanity, tolerance and positivism prevail over anything else. We have grown amazingly fast since 2002 thanks to our main focus being on the quality of our teaching method, the ´Método Hispania´. Thanks to this, the word of mouth promotion we had not only by students, but also by teachers of the University of Valencia and Universidad Europea de Madrid, converted our school in the most popular school of the city of Valencia, being completely full not only in the summer, but also in the winter. This method that we use is based on in-class interaction, where the student is the protagonist of the lesson and not the teacher. We believe mistakes are the beginning of the learning process and we are able to teach from the mistakes that our students make. We follow the linguistic objectives of the European Common Framework, so each level is divided in A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. We create a very relaxed atmosphere where the students feel comfortable to speak and practise all the topics they have learnt in each lesson without any fear of making mistakes. We do not teach theoretically, on the contrary, we teach through games, songs, texts, and focus on the speaking, although grammar explanations are always present. We also teach all the linguistic skills from day-to-day conversation. We do not like descriptive grammar but functional grammar, where it is very important to explain why we use a structure or a tense. Our own method and the friendly and helpful attitude that we are constantly showing our students has converted a school of 30 students per year in a school of more than 2500 students per year who are multiplying in number over academic course. - Services must be paid in full 1 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.

Cancellation Policy

- The cancelation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person that booked the course.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

- A cancellation fee of € 150 applies when a course is cancelled less than 1 week/s before the course commencement date.

Visa Refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 300 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
