Standard general English course in Jersey: 15 hours of group lessons a week, Monday to Friday 9:00-12:30 with a 30-minute break. Students have two lessons every morning with different teachers, with a focus on communication skills and grammar and up-to-date course materials. Maximum 10 students per class, minimum age 18, minimum level Elementary. Courses start every Monday from 22 March to 22 October 2027 and last from 1 to 31 weeks (they must finish by 22 October 2027). For courses of 1-3 weeks the social programme is included: two afternoon excursions with transport, a pub evening or welcome drinks at the school and a dinner at a local restaurant (food and drinks are not included; about £25 for the dinner). From the fourth week the price per week is lower and no excursions are included (students can pay extra to join activities); the first three weeks of a longer course are charged at the 1-3 week rate. If an activity has to be cancelled because of bad weather it is replaced with another one from the programme. Free tea and coffee at break times. The enrolment fee of £80 is charged once per booking. Important: once the school confirms your booking, St Brelade's College asks for a £200 deposit straight away (paid directly to the school); the rest is paid to the school at least 4 weeks before arrival.
