Intensive General English: 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week, morning or afternoon. Students booked on Intensive English for 8 or more weeks can upgrade for free to Business English or Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEIC or Cambridge), subject to availability. Prices per week: EUR 425 (1-7 weeks), 370 (8-20), 325 (21+). IELS Malta, Mattew Pulis Street, Sliema: lessons of 45 minutes, average class size 12 (maximum 15), courses start every Monday, all levels from beginner. Minimum age 16 (18 between 19 June and 4 September). Registration fee EUR 55 and course materials EUR 35 per 8 weeks of study. Prices include taxes. High-season supplement of EUR 50 per week for stays of 1-7 weeks between 21 June and 3 September. Student information
On the first Monday morning students should arrive at school at 8:00 and approach the school staff. Students will then have placement test and proceed to their classes. During the first break between tuition sessions IELS staff will hold a 5-10 min introductory meeting welcoming new students and giving the basic information about their stay in Gozo and Malta, weekly leisure activity programme, public transport, location of pharmacies, ATM, banks and other important venues.

Cancellation: written notice received at least 14 days before the start date: all fees paid are refunded, less the registration fee and one week of tuition (and accommodation, where applicable). Less than 14 days before the start: no refund of tuition or accommodation. If a student does not attend on the start date or the course is terminated after it starts, no refunds. Visa refusal: with written evidence received at least 7 days before arrival, fees are refunded less bank charges, non-refundable fees (registration, courier, insurance) and one week of accommodation; with less than 7 days, a charge of up to four weeks of tuition, accommodation and transfer applies. Full payment is due at least 14 days before the start date (students who need a visa pay in full before applying). A minimum of 80% attendance is required for the certificate of attendance. Students under 18 on adult courses must keep a 23:00 curfew and need a notarised letter from their parents or guardians if they do not stay in school-supervised accommodation.
