Qualifications: Cambridge Preliminary English Test (PET)

PET is the next level up after the KET
Cambridge Preliminary (PET) qualification shows that you have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use.

This exam is the logical step in your language learning journey between Cambridge English: Key (KET) and Cambridge English: First (FCE)

The Academy organises PET exam preparation over 20 hour weekly courses. We recommend students book a minimum of 6 weeks to properly prepare for their exam.
Students will follow General English courses:Mon to Friday: 9.15 -12.30 and
Prepare for Cambridge on Mondays&Wednesday or Wednesdays&Fridays and/or Saturday mornings (2.45mins per class)
The exam tests all four English language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Monday/Wednesday 13.30-16.15 or Wednesday/Friday 13.30-16.15 or
Wednesday pm 13.30 &Saturday 9.15-11.45 am. Classes of 2.30h

Terms & Conditions: The Trinity Academy of English

- Services must be paid in full 30 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 18 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- No course changes will be allowed to make up for refunds in the case of course cancellations.
- Where a cancellation is received 30 days after enrolment there will be no refund.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Enrolment fee is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund policy

- Bookings may be cancelled up to 8 weeks prior to commencement of the course without penalty or fee
- If a course is cancelled more than 29 days before the start date, the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- 1 week tuition
- 1 week accommodation
- If a course is cancelled between 28 and 1 days before the start date the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- 2 week tuition
- 2 week accommodation
- If a course is cancelled between 10 and 1 days before the start date the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- 4 week tuition
- 4 week accommodation

Visa refusal

- If an entry visa is not granted and the School is informed more than days before the start date, the following charges will apply:
- registration fee

- The remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
