This is the ideal course to obtain a broad knowledge of the Spanish language.

In these courses, students learn Spanish as it is used in different everyday situations. During the course, students will practice through studying grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing, listening and reading comprehension, spelling and conversation.

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with the necessary skills in order to speak correctly, write and understand texts properly. Our classes are mainly conversational, where students learn in a pleasant and effective way how to use the language.
Our teachers also use the newest teaching strategies, so that learning Spanish in Hispania, escuela de español is very easy and fun!

In the General Spanish Courses, the language is taught in both formal and informal registers. We pay attention to the different linguistic varieties enabling the student to understand any type of communicative speech.

We offer a selection of programs for people who would like to improve their Spanish for academic, social, or professional reasons. However, we recommend the General Spanish Language course for students who want to learn Spanish with a general and broad approach, whilst covering many topics.

In contrast to many other schools, our course prices don't rise in the summer. However, we need to have very good organization due to the higher number of students in the summer months.

Therefore, we have the following schedule during the summer months, starting in June:

- Students who buy an Intensive Course Plus (20 hours/week) will have morning classes: from 9:30 to 11:20 and from 11:40 to 13:30.
- Students who buy an Intensive (10 hours/week) or Extensive Course (6 or 4 hours/week) will have afternoon classes: from 14:10 to 16:00 or from 16:20 to 18:10.

Of course, if for any reason a student would like to change their timetable, this would be possible.

This method that we use is based on in-class interaction, where the student is the protagonist of the lesson and not the teacher. We believe mistakes are the beginning of the learning process and we are able to teach from the mistakes that our students make. We follow the linguistic objectives of the European Common Framework, so each level is divided in A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. We create a very relaxed atmosphere where the students feel comfortable to speak and practise all the topics they have learnt in each lesson without any fear of making mistakes. We do not teach theoretically, on the contrary, we teach through games, songs, texts, and focus on the speaking, although grammar explanations are always present. We also teach all the linguistic skills from day-to-day conversation. We do not like descriptive grammar but functional grammar, where it is very important to explain why we use a structure or a tense. Our own method and the friendly and helpful attitude that we are constantly showing our students has converted a school of 30 students per year in a school of more than 2500 students per year who are multiplying in number over academic course. - Services must be paid in full 1 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation Policy

- The cancelation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person that booked the course.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund Policy

- A cancellation fee of € 150 applies when a course is cancelled less than 1 week/s before the course commencement date.

Visa Refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 300 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
