The Specialized Intensive program is designed for students who want to learn at a faster pace. The program offers 30 lessons per week.

The program offers four foundational courses that will help students to develop a strong understanding of the English language. The courses included are Grammar & Idioms, Listening & Speaking, Reading & Vocabulary and Writing & Presentation. In addition, students have the option of choosing two additional elective.

•Sol Schools Calgary is situated on the first floor of a two story building in the heart of the city's shopping and entertainment district. The building offers bright and comfortable classrooms, common areas and an outdoor patio for students to use.

Terms & Conditions: Sol Schools International - Calgary

- Services must be paid in full 21 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 17 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.

Refund policy

- If a course is cancelled more than 30 days before course start: 75% refund
- If a course is cancelled between 1 and 29 days before course start: 60% refund

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge only the non refundable deposit Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

1) Refunds
All refunds will be processed through and from the school for which you are registered. Refunds are made to the person, company, agency or organization that made the original payment. Refunds are processed within 45 days of receiving a written request for a refund. Students who are terminated due to violation of the school’s written disciplinary and/or attendance policies or state or federal laws will receive no refund.

2) Non-Refundable Fees
All Registration, Application Fees and all Placement Fees are non-refundable, as well as all Health Insurance Policy purchases. Accommodation Fees will only be refunded with a four week notice and in four week intervals.

3) Absence and postponement or change to original enrollment
An 80% attendance is required for students to receive their certificate. Students can not take breaks from their studies. Students wishing to postpone their studies or change their original enrollment, may do so with a two week prior written notice. A $100.00 fee will be applied for all above requests. Fees and penalties may be waived based on documented proof of medical, visa or extraordinary events.

4) Visa Refusal
Students who are denied or unable to obtain the proper documentation to enter and study at the school for which they are registered, are entitled to a full refund less all Non-Refundable Fees (as indicated above). Students MUST request for a refund in writing two weeks prior to the start of their course and or service(s) and produce proof of rejection from immigration authorities. Students failing to follow this procedure will only have the option for a refund under the Cancellations and/or Withdrawal section.

5) Cancellation prior to arrival
Students cancelling prior to the course or accommodation start date (whichever comes first), will be refunded in full less all accommodation charges incurred plus any non-refundable fees. Students who enter the USA on an I-20 obtained through Sol Schools, who cancel or never attend prior to the course or accommodation start date, whichever comes first, will have to make payment as follows: for a program of less than 12 weeks, all tuition charges for a maximum of 4 weeks, all accommodation charges incurred in addition to all non-refundable charges, for a program of 12 weeks or more, all tuition charges for up to 6 weeks, all accommodation charges incurred in addition to all non-refundable charges.

6) Course cancellation after arrival or "no shows"
For programs of 4 weeks or fewer, there are no refunds. For programs of 5 weeks or longer, students who withdraw at any point in the first 4 weeks, the school will retain all fees applicable to the first 4 weeks (including all non-refundable fees). For students who withdraw after 4 weeks, but before or at the midpoint of their enrollment, the school may retain a prorated amount of tuition. For students who withdraw after the midpoint of their enrollment, the school may retain all of the fees up to a maximum of 52 weeks.

7) Applying through an Authorized Representative
Students enrolled through an authorized representative of the schools MUST request and obtain their refund directly from the representative’s office. Please note some representatives have their own refund policies and charge cancellation fees for their services, which may or may not be the same as Sol Schools. We are not responsible for such fees nor their refunds.
