Qualifications: TestDaF Test für Deutsch als Fremdsprache DSH, Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD), telc - The European Language Certificates
Levels: Elementary - Level A1, Pre-Intermediate - Level A2, Intermediate - Level B1, Upper Intermediate - Level B2, Advanced - Level C1
The intensive course (30 group lessons per week) plus five one-to-one lessons per week with a qualified teacher, to prepare or review the material of the day and work on individual goals. Monday to Friday, 8:15 to 14:30 or 9:00 to 15:15.
Small groups of 6 to 15 participants, A1 to C1, lessons of 45 minutes.
Students who already speak some German can start any Monday. Complete beginners (A1) start on the first Monday of the month.
Course books are not included (about 35-50 EUR per level; they can also be borrowed).

Student information
Minimum age: 16 for group courses; 18 for the campus rooms and the hostel.
Registration fee for new students: 50 EUR (25 EUR per person when two or more register together).
Included: placement test, level tests, Wi-Fi on campus, certificate of attendance (with at least 80 % attendance), student ID, library and computer workstations, help finding a tandem partner.
Not included: course books, about 35-50 EUR per level for German and about 55 EUR per level for English. Books can also be borrowed for a deposit and a small fee.
Classes missed because of a public holiday can be made up on another day if requested in writing before 2:30 pm the day before.
Students on an intensive course can take up to two weeks' break per 12 course weeks (request in writing by Thursday 4 pm before the break); the course end date is extended.
Free trial lessons are possible.

Other terms
Course cancellation: free of charge in writing up to 14 days before the course starts. After that date the course cannot be cancelled and the full fee is due. Once the course has started it cannot be cancelled or shortened.
Accommodation: can be cancelled with four full weeks' notice; an early termination fee of 100 EUR applies. The reduced rate for 20 weeks or more ("VICTORIA Deal", campus and hostel) requires full prepayment and cannot be cancelled. A refundable room deposit (300 EUR) and a kitchen utensils deposit (70 EUR) are paid to the school.
Visa refusal: send the embassy's refusal letter together with the school's original letter of invitation. The school keeps 200 EUR administrative costs plus postage, courier and bank fees and refunds the rest within 30 days. If "provisional admission" was booked, that fee is not refunded. Students who have entered Germany with a visa cannot cancel the course.
