Monitoring Student Progress ISI is committed to ensuring that all students are placed in the right level and continue to make progress throughout their studies. First day feedback: During the Monday morning assessement, the Academic Manager will talk to the student about their experience so far (airport, host family, getting to the schoolm first impressions) and this feedback is sent to the agency together with the students level, on the first day of study.

- Services must be paid in full 15 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund policy

- A cancellation fee of € 200 applies when a course is cancelled less than 2 week/s before the course commencement date.
- A cancellation fee of € 500 applies when a course is cancelled less than 1 week before course commencement date.

How do I book a language course / accommodation?

Booking with us is really easy. You just have to go to the link of the school you are interested in. Where it says COURSE and then START, you select the dates you wish to study there. Afterwards, you select how many weeks you want to study.

You then select the course you wish to attend. You can add optional services, such as accommodation and airport transfer. If you would like to add these additional services, you need to go further down the page where you will find the section relating to ACCOMMODATION. You select the option of the type of accommodation you want (You do not have to select the dates here if they are the same as the course - they are automatically selected).
After the Accommodation, you have another option, that of TRANSFER. This option allows you to book a transport that will pick you up at the airport and will take you to your residence or host family.

Once you have selected all these options, on your right hand side, you are going to see a summary of your reservation with all the information about the course and the accommodation, together with their prices. Also, the deposit you have to pay will be displayed there. You just have to press the Orange Button that says BOOK NOW and this will take you to another page to enter your personal details. When you are booking you only have to pay the little deposit. After that, we will contact the school and request your booking. When your booking is confirmed by the school or host, they will hold your place until the your booking balance is paid in full. The same applies for the accommodation. You can pay either with credit card, paypal account or bank transfer; as you prefer. This deposit you pay now will be discounted from the total price. The rest of the money will not have to be paid until 15 days before your course starts. In any case, you will be receiving emails about your deposit payments; and also, reminders about the rest of the money when it needs to be paid.

When do the courses start?

The start dates of intensive and standard language courses are generally flexible. If you have some basic knowledge of the language, you will be able to start any Monday of the year at almost any school. If you are a total beginner, courses usually start once or twice a month.
You should be aware that language schools have more students in July and August than during any other time of year, which means that course fees, housing prices and the overall cost of living are often more expensive during this time. If you would like to book a course in July or August, you should do so very early: schools have limited spots and might be booked well in advance for the high season. Your chances to get your preferred housing type are also greater if you book your course early. Housing options near the school are especially difficult to secure in the summer and tend to fill up quickly.
Language courses during the low season (September to June) are not only less expensive, but also have smaller classes. If you are able to wait to take your courses during this time you will pay less for your courses, and you may even receive better housing, since demand is much lower. How do I know if a place is available?

I had a language course in ISI this year and really liked my stay there. The lessons are really helpful and as soon as you get better you always have the possibility to change your level to a higher one, which helps you always to improve your English even more. The activities in the afternoon are really interesting and vary in different ways. There are sightseeing trips around the city, social activities (e.g. soccer) and every saturday a trip to a different location in Ireland. Thumbs up!

Enseñanza buena, ya que las clases son de 6 a 8 a alumnos. La ubicación es centrica, como todo en Dublín. El material que pagas por 35 euros, no compensa. Además sino pides el libro, bolsa gym, etc no te dan nada y lo pagas. La diversión para los grupo de por la tarde, es nula; ya que las actividades que organiza la escuela se hacen a las 14:30 en adelante. Es decir al estar en clases, no puedes ir. En resumen, de lo prometido por ello a lo recibido, hay una gran distancia.

Reply from academy: Muchas gracias por la retroalimentación, estamos muy agradecidos en saber que disfrutaste de la oferta educativa que ofrece ISI. Los €35 referentes al costo de materiales cubren 3 cosas: 1) uso del paquete de libros en clase, 2) un libro de ejercicios, el cual es de tu propiedad, 3) todas las fotocopias/material que provee el profesor en clase. Todos los estudiantes son notificados en su primer día que deben presentarse en la recepción de la escuela para recoger su libro de ejercicios y un bolso. Esta información también esta incluida en la guía del estudiante. Lamentamos que los puntos anteriores no te hayan sido clarificados. El costo de las clases del turno vespertino tienen un 25% de descuento comparadas con las de turno matutino – el compromiso del estudiante de turno vespertino es que no puede tener acceso completo al programa de actividades sociales. Estando este punto aclarado, ISI cuenta con un programa de clubs (drama, historia y cultura) los cuales comienzan a las 4.40pm, posterior al termino de las clases de turno vespertino. Además, por lo menos una actividad en la tarde/noche cada semana, una fiesta de integración estudiantil (por la noche) una vez al mes y excursiones cada Sábado. Esperamos que hayas tenido la oportunidad de integrarte a alguna de estas actividades.

El problema ha estado con la familia,la escuela no tiene actualizada la información y tampoco te pregunta si quieres estar con perros o cualquier tipo de mascotas. La f me han tratado correctamente pero era imposible coincidir en las cenas con ellos y si se coincidia no tenían ningún interes en hablar contigo. Con lo cual toda esa parte de intercambio la he perdido. Tambien estaba con una estudiante española en la misma casa con lo cual noera de ayuda. Por lo que dudo que vuelva a esta escuela.

Los profesores son muy amables y el personal excelente. Estoy contenta con la academia, lo único que predominan los estudiantes españoles y eso dificulta el aprendizaje.

He quedado muy satisfecha con la escuela y con las clases que he recibido. La metodología de la escuela era basicamente trabajar el oral, o al menos así funcionaba mi nivel. El personal y profesorado era muy amigable y hacian muchas actividades durante el dia. El único problema que he visto ha sido que apenas habían actividades para los alumnos de tarde. Por otro lado, habían DEMASIADOS españoles, lo que dificultaba bastante el hablar en inglés..

La ubicación es buena, aunque cuesta un poco localizar la academia al encontrarse en una pequeña calle cortada. Las actividades organizadas son buenas y responden a los múltiples intereses de los alumnos. El problema es que hay muchos españoles en estas épocas del año, y esto dificulta que se pueda practicar más el idioma que quieres aprender.

A map with clear directions to the school it sent to every student with their accommodation details. If a student gets lost of confused they can call the school and we will (a) direct them to the school or (b) a staff member will meet the student and bring them to the school if they are lost.
