COURSE 1. Russian as a Foreign Language Teacher Development Course (for Teachers at A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels).
The course is for: non-native and native speakers of Russian teaching at primary, secondary, vocational schools, colleges and universities or language centres for adults at Beginners and Elementary level. It is recommended that participants have a level of Russian at CEF level B1+ (minimum B1).
Methodology topics to be covered:
Week 1: * Methods in teaching Russian as a foreign language; * Specific features in teaching Russian as a foreign language for beginners (alphabet, teaching aids, linguistic games etc.); * Elements of game in developing grammar awareness; * Phonetic exercises for developing listening skills; * Use of interactive methods and internet sources teaching Russian as a foreign language;
Week 2: * Student books and workbooks available for teaching Russian as a foreign language; * Electronic resources in teaching Russian as a foreign language; * Different possibilities in vocabulary supplementation; * Phonetic exercises for developing listening skills; * Use of interactive methods and internet sources teaching Russian as a foreign language;
COURSE 2. Russian as a Foreign Language Teacher Development Course (for Teachers at B1 and B2 level).

Week 1: * Methods in teaching Russian as a foreign language; * Use of interactive methods and internet sources in teaching Russian as a foreign language; * How to make work with texts exciting! * Original way of using TV news in the teaching process; * Tips in making Russian as a foreign language tests;
Week 2: * Student books and workbooks available for teaching Russian as a foreign language; * Different possibilities in vocabulary supplementation; * Elements of game in developing grammar awareness; * Phonetic exercises for developing listening skills; * Use of interactive methods and internet sources teaching Russian as a foreign language;
