We have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language since 1986. Our Spanish school is located in Granada, Andalusia. The Spanish courses are held throughout the year. •We offer our Spanish courses at all levels and guarantee that our Spanish courses always take place throughout the year. You can book a Spanish course for 1 week, or up to a period of several months. All of our teachers are native speakers with University degrees, and specialized in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Beside a hugh range of different courses we offer a daily cultural programme and different weekend trips to Cordoba, Seville, Alpujarra Mountains, Costa Tropical or Morocco.

Terms & Conditions: Escuela Montalbán

- Services must be paid in full 10 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund policy

- A cancellation fee of € 120 applies when a course is cancelled less than 1 week before course commencement date.

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 120 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

How do I book a language course / accommodation?

Booking with us is really easy. You just have to go to the link of the school you are interested in. Where it says COURSE and then START, you select the dates you wish to study there. Afterwards, you select how many weeks you want to study.

You then select the course you wish to attend. You can add optional services, such as accommodation and airport transfer. If you would like to add these additional services, you need to go further down the page where you will find the section relating to ACCOMMODATION. You select the option of the type of accommodation you want (You do not have to select the dates here if they are the same as the course - they are automatically selected).
After the Accommodation, you have another option, that of TRANSFER. This option allows you to book a transport that will pick you up at the airport and will take you to your residence or host family.

Once you have selected all these options, on your right hand side, you are going to see a summary of your reservation with all the information about the course and the accommodation, together with their prices. Also, the deposit you have to pay will be displayed there. You just have to press the Orange Button that says BOOK NOW and this will take you to another page to enter your personal details. When you are booking you only have to pay the little deposit. After that, we will contact the school and request your booking. When your booking is confirmed by the school or host, they will hold your place until the your booking balance is paid in full. The same applies for the accommodation. When do the courses start?

Housing options near the school are especially difficult to secure in the summer and tend to fill up quickly.

When I first came to Spain on the 3rd of September I was only know two words in Spanish: “Ola” which means “Hello”, and “Gracias”, which means ”Thank you”! I got enrolled on the Spanish courses in Escuela Montalban on the first week of October and now after one month I am happily able to communicate in Spanish with locals and foreigners who speak the language!

I've already been to some Spanish schools in Spain, but I've never felt as welcome as in the school Montalbán. In my opinion the great advantage of the Escuela Montalbán in Granada is its size. It is quite a small school, so if you look for personal and individual treatment, it's the perfect option. Concerning classes and progress in learning Spanish, they try to find the perfect level for you and don't mind to open a „new“ level for 3 students. A

Je dois dire que ce fut un séjour extraordinaire. L'école Montalban avait peu d'étudiants et nous avons donc pu travailler en groupes très restreints, dans des conditions idéales. Les profs sont disponibles et amicaux. Ils aiment et connaissent très bien leur belle ville. Je n'oublierai jamais la petite fête organisée par l'école: ambiance détendue, musique et pâtisseries espagnoles au programme! J'ai particulièrement apprécié cette ville magnifique aux accents arabes, gitans et chrétiens!

La Escuela Montalban a Granada e' stata una vera sorpresa, sin dal primo momento ho capito che mi trovavo in un posto speciale e ora che la mia esperienza e' terminata so di non essermi sbagliato. Al suo interno si puo' assaporare un mix azzeccatissimo di familiarità e professionalita' che consente allo studente di apprendere in tutta tranquillità una nuova lingua. Anche il rapporto tra gli stessi studenti e' ottimo, ciò grazie alle numerose attività che la scuola organizza.
