Student information

Groups welcome a maximum of 8 students. ÉQM knows that to limit the number of students increases the level of individual participation of each student and, therefore, allows the acquirement more quickly of a better "mastery" of the target language. École Québec Monde is located in downtown Quebec City, close to numerous restaurants, cafés, shops, parks, and cultural institutions, and a few minutes’ walk from Le Château Frontenac, train and bus stations, in acomplete French environment.

Terms & Conditions

- Services must be paid in full 14 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bank charges are payable by students

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- No course changes will be allowed to make up for refunds in the case of course cancellations.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Enrolment fee is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund policy

- If a course is cancelled more than 14 days before course start: registration and accomodation fees % refund
- If a course is cancelled between 7 and 13 days before course start: 75% refund
- If a course is cancelled between 1 and 6 days before course start: 60% refund
- If a course is cancelled less than 1 days before the start date full price will be charged.

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge registration fee Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other terms

Registrations are from 1 to 24 weeks. A first payment needs to be done before school sends student a letter of acceptance and information of homestay. A student must have a medical insurance. Total payment is done before school starts. Minimum age to join a group class is 18 years old. At ÉQM French is the only language used to communicate on School premises, in the classroom and during activities organized by ÉQM.
