Student information
New York City offers one of the world’s best and most exciting places to learn English: International House New York. We have small class sizes, because we know that authentic communication, practical usage, and personalized attention is the key to student success. Our communicative, student-centered approach helps students to grow. We offer General English, Executive English and English for Exams.
Terms & Conditions
- Services must be paid in full 15 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 17 years of age or over
Cancellation policy
- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
Refund policy
- A cancellation fee of € 300 applies when a course is cancelled less than 2 week/s before the course commencement date.
Visa refusal
- If an entry visa is not granted and the School is informed more than days before the start date, the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- The remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
Other terms
Every student must have appropriate medical insurance.
Students will be assigned to afternoon and/or morning schedules based on level, availability and operational schedules. There are no guaranteed morning-only classes.
