WISE English is located in beautiful and historic Canterbury, which is the perfect location for learning English. We have been teaching English successfully for over 40 years, both in England and internationally. Our teachers are friendly and helpful - we want to help you learn English quickly and effectively. We are specialists in teaching adults. Our courses can be combined with other fields like business, engineering and science. Learners who want to improve their English for university can also do special courses to prepare for IELTS, Cambridge proficiency tests and TOEFL. We offer one-to-one teaching and small classes so that you get maximum attention. If you have limited time, we can design a fast-track programme for you. Warnborough Intensive School of English (WISE) is a recognised centre for learning English for Students, Executives & Professionals. Warnborough has been teaching English since 1973. We are a small college based in the historic university city of Canterbury, less that 55 minutes from central London. The WISE focus is on adult learners taught on a one-to-one basis, where each student receives personal attention. WISE offers an ideal way for the student to advance quickly and effectively, and thus save time and money. Small group classes ( 2 to 6 students) are available depending on demand and level of English. Our teachers are professionals – qualified, experienced and friendly. Closed groups is an option for companies/institutions who want to send a group of employees to learn the same thing for the same period of time. The WISE Integrative Approach The WISE teaching method integrates reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, pronunciation and speaking competencies. Also, it enables the student to learn about British customs, culture and history.

Hola todos. Desde el principio de mi tiempo allí, me trataron muy bien. Las clases eran pequeñas e íntimas, el profesor tuvo mucho tiempo para hablar conmigo y enseñarme lo que no entendí. Siempre sentí que estaba aprendiendo algo nuevo. Me quede con una familia linda que me cuidaron bien. La ciudad fue mi parte favorita. Canterbury es bella. Hay mucho que hacer aquí si te gusta caminar, comer, comprar y no te importa la lluvia. Es vieja y romántica, me encanto. En total, excelente.

I really improved my English dramatically within a short time. The teachers were helpful and friendly. The classes were combined with fun activities to help us remember what we had learnt and help us practice the spoken language. The student city is very pretty and full of other international students.I would recommend this College to anyone who wants to improve their English quickly. This experience in Warnborough College let me learn more things about the language and the culture that in years of English lessons in my country. Teaching staff is friendly and devoted to the students, and makes our lives being easier with an appreciate family-like atmosphere. Near to the city center and with efficient courses, Warnborough College is definitely and doubtless a really good Learning independent school.

For me, the lessons following to Warborough College was a good experience because my english improved. Camterbury is a very nice town, with a substantial story. Courses are very interesting and the teachers are here to listen problems. Days pass quickly. The atmosphere is friendly.

Studied General English at this College and it was an enjoyable time. Loved the trips around town and in London. I stayed with British family and my English has improved better. Would recommend.
