Student information

Whether you are a mature professional or a student who wants first class marks in your English exams, One-to-One English with your teacher is very hard work and intensive. After the second day, you'll probably dream in English.

All students have their own bedroom, a private bathroom and share three meals a day with their teacher and his/her family. Students can use the kitchen at all times to make snacks and they can also use the laundry.

ALEC HomeStay is your home when you are away from home.

Terms & Conditions


- Services must be paid in full 21 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- No course changes will be allowed to make up for refunds in the case of course cancellations.
- Where a cancellation is received 1 days after enrolment there will be no refund.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund policy

- 1- No refunds whatsoever are given for cancellations.


Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge €450 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other terms

- Bookings are not transferable.
- The balance of the course fee must be paid three weeks in advance before the course starts to ensure enrollment and accommodation.

Cancellation policy

- The deposit is non-refundable.

Refund policy

- No refunds whatsoever are given for cancellations.

Visa refusal

- Course fee less the deposit and a fixed administration charge is refunded.
