Student information
The school was founded in 1996 by Lesley Bogue and has grown steadily since then. In 2009 the school was taken over by the Sprachenzentrum Wöhler e.K. Germany. We renamed the school English Encounters in 2010 and relocated to downtown Burlington in April 2010.
Our students come from every continent on the planet, so there are always a variety of cultures present in each classroom. You will not only meet Canadians, but make friends with people from many places and many cultures.
