In Wakuwaku's Tea Ceremony plus Survival Japanese course, you will learn survival Japanese that is necessary during your stay in order to communicate well with native Japanese people and build a good relationship.

Survival Japanese for shopping, getting a discount, ordering food, asking for directions, booking a restaurant table, making phone calls, and so on, is the heart of this course. But to further your cultural experience, you have the opportunity to experience the famous Japanese Tea Ceremony and try it out for yourself. You not only learn the Japanese language but use it in a real situation to improve your skills.

In addition to Tea Ceremony, you can also sign up for other optional cultural activities such as Zazen, Calligraphy, Kimono, Soba, Sushi, and Traditional Food. There's no end to the wonderful activities to explore!

It’s easy to find a time that’s convenient for you and not only that, you can study anywhere from one week or more! Small Classes Wakuwaku features small classes capped at 8 students. It’s a great way to get to know your fellow students as well as teachers and staff. Your Level is the Right Level It doesn’t matter how much Japanese you know, come to Wakuwaku and we will help you meet your goals. There’s nothing more frightening than beginning a new language but we can help you find a comfortable pace to learn. Designed for Western Students Since we use English in our classes, it is easy to learn the language. Not only that, Wakuwaku also understands the needs of western students. But there is still plenty of opportunity to meet people from all over the world! Unique Activities Our course is designed not only to learn the language, but also to immerse you in the culture. Learning about culture is an integral part of learning any language because it helps you feel and own the language on a deeper level. You can participate in Sushi making, Zen meditation, Soba making, Calligraphy, and so on! A Great Location in the Heart of Kyushu Wakuwaku is located in the heart of Kyushu in the beautiful city of Hita. There are mountains, rivers, and countless sights to see, as well as being centrally located with convenient access to many popular tourist destinations. Not to mention the wonderful festivals that Hita is famous for!

Terms & Conditions: Wakuwaku Japanese Language and Culture School

- Services must be paid in full 10 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 18 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- No course changes will be allowed to make up for refunds in the case of course cancellations.
- Where a cancellation is received 10 days after enrolment there will be no refund.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Enrolment fee is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
