NEAS is a global leader in quality assurance for the English Language Teaching (ELT) sector.

 

NEAS accredits English language programs in universities, vocational colleges, schools and stand-alone centres. Successful applicants are granted the NEAS logo, an internationally recognised mark of quality valued by students, teachers, agents, business and governments.

 

NEAS is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1990 by invitation from the Commonwealth government to provide independent quality assurance in the burgeoning English Language Teaching (ELT) sector. More than 20 years later, NEAS has grown to become a global leader in ELT quality assurance, with over 250 accredited centres in Australia and over 20 centres across South-East Asia and the Middle East. Students, teachers, agents, education providers and governments throughout the world recognise NEAS’ familiar blue-and-white logo as an international mark of quality in ELT education.

 

NEAS also monitors the delivery of the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) across Australia through contract with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
